In the Back to School Collection, I’m reflecting on how deeply history inspires us. Everything beautiful has already been created, and sometimes, instead of trying to make something completely new, it’s more meaningful to draw inspiration from the past.
Rather than creating something entirely original, it’s okay to “copycat” ancient art—without any regrets. This process helps us learn and grow as artists.
At QuiteSomeTime Studio, we embrace the idea that our first attempts may not be perfect, but they are valuable learning experiences. Our first creations might not be “beautiful” at first, but with each try, we get closer to our own unique voice.
For our first “time travel” month, we drew inspiration from the archaic period in Greece, and the results were four beautiful versions of Greek vases. This is how we bring history to life, one creation at a time.
