Join us on an incredible journey through Anatolia, Turkey, as we explore the intersection of recycling art, cultural heritage, and environmental awareness. This initiative, powered by QuiteSomeTime Studio, is more than a trip — it’s a creative act of renewal and storytelling.
The Vision Recycling Art Act; My Turn Back – Geriye Dönüşüm! is a week-long journey starting on April 30, 2025. Our team of seven passionate creatives — including a photographer, caricaturist, designer, developer, musician, and myself — will travel to Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya, Gaziantep, Ankara, Sinop, and back to Istanbul. At each stop, we’ll uncover local inspirations, document sustainable practices, and collaborate with communities to create art that bridges the past and future.
Each stop will also include visits to museums and heritage sites, where we’ll explore historical artworks and the narratives they carry. We’ll examine how these narratives are preserved and practiced today and engage in instant recycling-inspired replications or practices to connect with their essence in a modern context.
The purpose of this trip is to discover and understand the meaning underlying Göbekli Tepe. We aim to collect knowledge about certain beliefs and the general methodologies followed by religions, countries, and businesses. By digging beneath these layers, we hope to uncover the peaceful lifestyle humanity once had and has since forgotten — a way of life now buried in our minds, just as Göbekli Tepe was physically buried. What lies beneath it? What are we expecting to find?
This journey is not just about external exploration; it’s also about an inner excavation. Our team will delve into their emotions, beliefs, roots, and humanity’s shared heritage of believing in ourselves and the profound energy within us all — our soul, our light. Through this discovery, we hope to illuminate a path back to a more harmonious existence.
